Angie grew up in Alameda, CA and started riding at age 7. She established a strong foundation in the junior hunter and equitation divisions at the A-circuit level before founding AF Training and Sales in 2018. Angie specializes in developing horses from the ground up, to the highest level of the sport. From off the track thoroughbreds, warmbloods, sport ponies, and everything in between.      As a previous exercise rider for a thoroughbred racing and training barn, she emphasizes her ability to retrain any racehorse/off the track thoroughbred appropriately with the horse’s wellbeing in mind. Thoroughbreds are trained in a very specific way on the track and Angie’s process has been proven successful over retraining and rehoming 30+ thoroughbreds.      If you are looking for someone to start your young horse the correct way in any discipline, Angie is the person to go to! She uses her own method of colt starting for young horses that has also been proven successful by many happy clients and their testimonials.  These clients are now competing with their horses in several different disciplines; from jumping to barrel racing to roping.
